The Secret to Face Pulls
June 10, 2026Little details matter… even down to the rope attachment you choose for face pulls.
Most gyms have the shorter black rope and then the longer red-and-black rope.
I usually go with the longer one, especially being taller.
That extra length lets me spread my hands out more at the end of the movement and really get a better contraction in the rear delts instead of feeling restricted by a shorter rope.
Sometimes small adjustments like this can completely change how an exercise feels.
