
Don’t SKIP This Total Body Stretch (DO IT DAILY!)
June 13, 2025In this stretch, you simply get into a forward lunge position inside a doorway with you back knee on the ground behind you while the other is through the doorway. Place your hands on the doorframe so that your elbows are pointing down towards the ground. Lean forward on the front leg and hold for 30-60 seconds before switching legs.
This will target your thoracic spine by promoting thoracic extension and external rotation. This is beneficial for your body because the thoracic mobility is extremely important. Losing thoracic extension will lead to postural and mobility dysfunction. External rotation is necessary for shoulder health and function.
